Happy Armaversary

Today we’re celebrating the one-year anniversary of the release of the TV adaptation of Good Omens!

To join in the group watch of Episode 6, just press play on the episode at 7pm BST (find your time zone here) and tweet with the hashtag #HappyArmaversary.

One hour later, join us on Zoom for the after-party. The Zoom meeting will be open from 18:55. so that you can use the text chat only during the episode watch if you would rather chat there than on Twitter.

Once the episode finishes, we will take a short break, and then the schedule for the night is as follows:

Then: A game of Good Omens Bingo, with a prize!

Followed by: Premiere of Good Omens Pass the Brush Challenge, presented by Tricksy Spirit Cosplay, Andrea Felix and Sunni.

Until late: Cards Against Armageddon and group hangouts

We will have the full range of breakout rooms that were available for the #WrongBirthday party, and will again make everyone a co-host of the meeting so that you can move around between rooms.

However, a quirk of Zoom is that co-hosts cannot play Bingo; we will therefore have a note up on screen from 20:00 asking that anyone who does not want to play Bingo raises their hand (using the button on the Zoom menu). We will make those people co-hosts first; everyone else will be made a co-host at the end of the Bingo game.

Once you have been made a co-host, you will need to accept the invitation to join one (randomly allocated) breakout room; once you have done that, clicking on the “breakout rooms” button will enable you to see the full list of rooms and move freely between them.

You can join through a web browser or on mobile, but we recommend being on a computer or laptop and downloading the software for full functionality, including the ability to move between breakout rooms. If this isn’t possible for you, you can still join in, you’ll just have to ask us to move you around.

As for our other events this month, we’re hosting this event free of charge, but if you would like to donate to Alzheimer’s Research UK in memory of Sir Terry Pratchett our Justgiving page is still taking donations until midnight tonight.
