#WrongBirthday

Look out for a lovely big helly hellhound, because today is the actual 30th birthday of Good Omens!

To join in the group watch of Episode 1, just press play on the episode at 8pm BST (find your time zone here) and tweet with the hashtag #WrongBirthday.

One hour later, join us on Zoom for the after-party.

Note: you do not need to arrive at 9pm sharp; in fact, it would be easier for us if arrivals are staggered a little, so feel free to take a break after the episode to grab drinks and snacks before making your way over.

You can join through a web browser or on mobile, but we recommend being on a computer or laptop and downloading the software for full functionality, including the ability to move between breakout rooms. If this isn’t possible for you, you can still join in, you’ll just have to ask us to move you around.

Unlike last weekend, we won’t be organising games, but there will be a range of breakout rooms that you can move between, and we have set up some for specific topics that have been requested on the signup forms. If there’s a room you would like to see that you haven’t requested yet, please do so before the watch starts as we can’t rename the rooms once the party has begun (this is one of those awkward Zoom limitations that Crowley invented).

As for last weekend, we’re hosting this event free of charge, but if you would like to donate to Alzheimer’s Research UK in memory of Sir Terry Pratchett our Justgiving page is still taking donations. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far to this excellent cause.
