Unlike Newt, Lis is actually a computer engineer – who really wanted to work in natural language processing but has (so far) settled for adding buttons to mobile apps. They’ve also been reading Good Omens fanfiction more or less every day and in disturbing quantities since June 2019, and are a little bit ashamed to admit they have a much stronger attachment to some of the fics than they ever had to the book or to the show. They also volunteer at the Organization for Transformative Works (the non-profit behind AO3). This talk practically made itself 🙂
