Auction and Prizes

The Ineffable Con auction is where – through the kindness of donations from the fandom – The Ineffable Con (TIC) events have been able to raise the most money for Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK). We will be running an auction for TIC7 online to ensure accessibility for in-person and virtual attendees alike. We will also have raffles both in person and online.

We are also enormously grateful for donations of prizes for competitions, as this allows more of our funds to go to ARUK. Prizes are used for competitions, such as the quiz, and the cosplay competition, and prizes have been sent around the world to worthy winners!

The Ineffable Con 7

 If you would like to donate an item for the auction or a prize, please read the guidelines below:

• If you are attending in person and wish to donate to the in-person raffle, just bring the item with you – no need to let us know.
• Other donations must be sent to TIC HQ by 14th August.
• If you are attending TIC7 in person, we would still like to receive the item(s) before 14th August, as we will need to set up the online auction/raffle and get items ready for shipping, and so that we can collate and allocate prizes.
• Postage to TIC HQ is at the donator’s cost (with thanks – this allows us to maximise the donation to ARUK!)
• TIC HQ will pay any incoming customs charges that might be applicable for items to arrive with us.
• TIC HQ will promote donators across social media if handles are provided.
